Today a public discussion of the draft terms of reference for the e-procurement system was held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Finance Avag Avanesyan, Advisor to the Minister Armen Gevorgyan, Head of the Procurement Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance Sergey Shahnazaryan and the representatives of public organizations.
The Representatives of the Ministry of Finance emphasized the most important goal of the implementation of the project: to create for the end user such a working tool that will meet the requirements of the strategy for reforming the state financial management system
Reference was made to the main problems in the procurement system, the outdated state, procurement process planning, procedures. The digitization of the procurement procedures, modernization of toolkits and improvement of contract management process were highlighted.
The stakeholders around the project asked questions, expressed observations and suggestions about the project.
