On October 8, the RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan received the Head of Regional Representation of the European Investment Bank Maciej Czura.
Minister Khachatryan highly appreciated the cooperation with the European Investment Bank (the EIB) and highlighted the EIB-co-financed projects in various areas: North-South highway and Sisian-Agarak road section, Yerevan metro and transport system, water resources and irrigation infrastructure management.
Maciej Czura thanked for the warm reception and wished the new RA Government success in implementing the ambitious reform agenda.
The EIB representative noted that he was aware of the measures taken by the RA Government aimed at improving the business environment and stressed that the EIB is ready to provide assistance to its Armenian partners in that direction as well. At the same time, Mr. Czura expressed gratification for the level of cooperation with the RA Government and conveyed confidence that all joint projects will continue to contribute to the development and diversification of the Armenian economy.
During the meeting the parties discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
