Today, Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Armenia, Marieke Harriet Monroy-Winter.
Congratulating the Ambassador on the start of her mission, the Minister highly appreciated the current level of cooperation both bilaterally and within international organizations, particularly in the associative groups covering Armenia, led by the Netherlands, within the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The Minister also expressed special gratitude to the government of the Netherlands for the support provided in addressing the needs of the forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current and future cooperation issues and touched upon Armenia’s macroeconomic situation, as well as the reforms being implemented in the field of public finance.
Both sides expressed their readiness to continue joint efforts to further strengthen, expand, and intensify cooperation in a bilateral format.
