Today, on March 22, the RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan received the delegation led by Giorgi Sharvashidze, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia.
Minister Hovhannisyan, welcoming the guests, congratulated Ambassador Sharvashidze for his new position and expressed hope that the existing cooperation between the two countries will be effective and continuous.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, Giorgi Sharvashidze, in turn, congratulated Vahe Hovhannisyan on his appointment as the RA Minister of Finance.
The interlocutors touched upon the cooperation between the finance ministries of the two countries, highlighted that it has become more intensive in recent times. This is also witnessed by the visit of representatives of the RA Ministry of Finance and the State Revenue Committee to Georgia in July last year.
At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the necessity of efforts aimed at the exchange of experience and effective cooperation.
