The RA Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan, participated in the 14th Annual Global Investment Conference held in Abu Dhabi, as part of the delegation led by President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan. The conference was held under the theme “Mapping the Future of Global Investment: The New Wave of the Global Investment Landscape Towards a New Balanced Global Structure.”
Within the framework of this Forum, which is considered one of the most important events in the field of global investments, the RA Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan together with Hayk Yeganyan, Director General of the Armenian Stock Exchange, met with Abdulla Salem Al Nuaimi, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange. During the meeting, the possibilities of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including issues related to the expansion of financial markets and promotion of new investments.
Minister Hovhannisyan presented the current economic reforms and the priorities for the development of the country's financial system. Representatives of the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange have expressed interest in the opportunities and prospects of Armenia's financial markets.
The Minister highlighted the importance of the Armenian Stock Exchange's membership in Abu Dhabi's "Tabadul" digital exchange hub, expressing hope that it will greatly contribute to expanding international investment opportunities, providing strategic opportunities to new markets and expanding access to investments.
