The RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan Took Part in Moscow Financial Forum

On September 8, the delegation led by the RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan took part in the annual financial forum held in Moscow at the RF Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov’s invitation.

The key topic of Moscow Financial Forum was as follows: “Financial System of the 21st Century Competitive Economy: Challenges and Solutions”. It was dedicated to the 215th anniversary of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the 870th anniversary of Moscow.

The Forum is aimed to bring together government officials, professional and expert community of international level, representatives of business sector; and to determine the key directions of financial strategy of Russian economic development through constructive and open discussions.

In the course of Moscow Financial Forum, the problems of budgetary, taxation and debt policies, perspectives of intergovernmental relations, human capital and poverty, shadow sector, as well as the instability of oil prices were discussed. Special attention was paid to the improvement of public administration policy, state control and development of public procurements system.

Within the framework of the Forum, the RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan met also the RF Finance Minister Anton Siluanov; agenda issues of bilateral interest were discussed.
