Trilateral Memorandum of Understanding between the RA Ministry of Finance, the Eurasian Development Bank and the Analytical Credit Rating Agency

Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the RA Ministry of Finance, the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA). It was signed by the RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan, the Chairman of EDB Board Nikolay Podguzov and the Chairman of the Board of ACRA Mikhail Sukhov.

In the framework of the Memorandum, the parties define the following areas of cooperation: awarding a sovereign credit rating to the Republic of Armenia, ensuring access to rating services, including assessment of ACRA credit rating of RA financial market resident companies, providing credit ratings to bonds issued in Armenia on favorable terms within the cooperation programs with EDB.

At the end of the event, Minister Khachatryan highlighted the effectiveness of numerous joint programs implemented with EDB, the cooperation with Armenia and expressed willingness to deepen it.

In his turn, Nikolay Podguzov noted that Armenia and the EDB have a long experience of successful cooperation, in the scope of which various joint programs and initiatives have been implemented. He welcomed the measures taken by the RA Government to improve the business environment and boost private investment, short-term and long-term action plans in the current economic situation.
