The RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan received the delegation led by Christine Weigand, the representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Armenia.
Minister Hovhannisyan, welcoming the guests, highly appreciated the cooperation with UNICEF and emphasized that the government prioritizes programs aimed at children's special needs
aimed at the fields of education, health and social support and protection.
Christine Weigand, for her part, greatly emphasized the readiness of the RA government to support programs aimed at children's rights and well-being and addressed the issues regarding the current cooperation with the Armenian side.
At the meeting the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the transparency and accountability of public finances related to the rights of the child.
