On November 8, a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, Eduard Hakobyan, participated in the 4th meeting of the EU-Armenia Subcommittee on Economic Cooperation and Related Areas held in Brussels.
The meeting was co-chaired on the Armenian side by Deputy Minister of Finance Eduard Hakobyan.
During the meeting, which was attended by representatives of all relevant government agencies, the latest macroeconomic developments and current state of Armenia were presented. The Armenian side also delivered a report on reforms in public financial management, addressing progress in areas such as public debt management, tax policy and administration, public investment management, and external auditing. Concurrently, the European Commission presented the economic situation and prospects within the European Union.
Additionally, sectoral discussions were held on financial stability, developments in the non-banking financial market, macroprudential policy, statistics, and cooperation in combating fraud.
