A delegation from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, headed by Deputy Minister Arman Poghosyan, participated in the 2025 ministerial conference organized in Vienna by the World Bank’s Center for Financial Reporting Reform (CFRR) and the Austrian Ministry of Finance. The conference was titled "Financial and Sustainability Reporting Reforms: Navigating Green and Digital Agendas."
The purpose of the conference was to raise awareness and mobilize political support for financial and sustainability reporting reforms aligned with international standards in the Europe and Central Asia region.
The conference brought together over 250 high-ranking delegates, including ministers of finance, other government officials, international development partners, high-level representatives from the public and private sectors, professional and academic communities, as well as experts from EU and international organizations.
As part of the conference, Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia, Arman Poghosyan, participated in a ministerial panel discussion. He presented the reforms implemented in the fields of auditing and accounting in Armenia, spoke about the digitalization of financial reporting in the public sector, and addressed existing challenges and upcoming tasks in the field.
