On October 25-27, the RA Ministry of Finance, with the technical assistance of the European Commission, within the TAIEX instrument, organized a workshop "On Ensuring Effective Financial-Budgetary Supervision" defined by the Public Finance Management System Reform Strategy (PFMSR) and PFMSR 2019-2023 Action Plan. The workshop was held online for the prevention of the spread of Covid-19.
The workshop was attended by the staff of the Financial-Budgetary Supervision Department of the RA Ministry of Finance and the PFMSR Secretariat, as well as representatives of international organizations.
In his opening speech, Vakhtang Sisakyan, Head of Financial-Budgetary Supervision Department, stressed that EU assistance would greatly contribute to the modernization of the sphere, increase the efficiency of financial supervision and the level of financial discipline in the field of public finance management.
