On May 28-29, in Vienna, the capital of Austria, the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan and Head of Department of Accounting and Audit Activities Regulation and Reports Monitoring Karen Alaverdyan participated in the launch event of the World Bank's “Enhancing Auditing, Accounting, and Sustainability Reporting” (EAASURE) project, during which the actions planned by the program and the expected results were discussed with the beneficiary countries. The program will further support the 11 beneficiary countries in responding to new EU requirements in the area of corporate financial and sustainability accountability.
The event provided an opportunity for participants to communicate with international experts and regional partners on topics related to corporate sustainability and financial accountability, public oversight and auditing.
