On June 26, Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan had a meeting with Bakhyt Sultanov, the Minister in charge of the Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
During the meeting, the parties discussed several issues related to their current cooperation: the methodology for calculating norms for distributing import customs duties among the budgets of Eurasian Economic Union member states, alternative mechanisms for calculating and distributing customs, special, anti-dumping, and countervailing duties, as well as draft agreements in the fields of auditing and accounting.
Vahe Hovhannisyan noted that Armenia's presidency of the EAEU bodies in 2024 obliges to continue making appropriate efforts to ensure the best implementation of the economic cooperation agenda.
