The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received Johannes Daumann, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia.
Ambassador Daumann congratulated Atom Janjughazyan on assuming the post of the Finance Minister and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation between the two countries.
In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed a number of issues of current cooperation, in particular, the steps to enhance accountability and transparency in public finance management. An arrangement was reached on further activities.
The Republic of Armenia is a member of the Dutch Subgroup of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, which is governed by a representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Within the framework of the latter, there is close cooperation, pursuing new perspectives of development of relations.
