The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received Michael Johannes Banzhaf, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia.
During the meeting, the parties referred to the current cooperation and the prospects for its development. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of programs in the fields of energy, environment, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as agricultural insurance. The activities of KfW (Credit Institute for Reconstruction) and GIZ (German Corporation for International Cooperation) in Armenia were also discussed.
At the end of the meeting, an Agreement "On 2016 Financial Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany" was signed.
