On December 10, the RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received the delegation led by Nathan Porter, Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission in Armenia.
In the course of the meeting, the parties referred to the opportunities for expanding cooperation and discussed the priorities and directions for further cooperation defined on the basis of elaboration and harmonization of sector strategies.
Atom Janjughazyan presented a number of indicators and forecasts of the state budget for 2020, noting that it was based on the results of the current year budget. He also touched on fiscal risk management, attracting investments through fiscal transparency and accountability, debt manageability and capital market development strategy.
The Minister attached importance to the programs implemented jointly with the IMF and its support in the context of capacity building.
