Today, in the second reading, the RA National Assembly adopted the Draft Law on Making Amendments and Addendum to the Law on RA State Budget for 2020 with 89 votes in favour.
Thus, due to the hostilities, the current expenses of the state budget of Armenia will be increased by AMD 40 billion.
"We are convinced that these changes will give an opportunity to adequately respond to the problems we have had to face during this period. The approval of the draft in this form will allow us to solve the problems that have arisen", - said Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan in his speech.
It should be noted that according to the Law on the Legal Regime of Martial Law, the Government submits a draft law on making amendments and addenda to the current year's state budget to the RA National Assembly no later than within 10 days after declaring martial law.
