Delegation Led by RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan and the Ministry of Finance of Japan Reached Agreement on a New Tax Treaty
A delegation led by RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan, which included representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the State Revenue Committee, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held a three-day negotiation with a delegation from the Ministry of Finance of Japan. The parties reached an agreement on a new tax treaty.
The treaty outlines provisions clarifying the framework for taxation between the two countries, eliminating international double taxation, and preventing tax evasion and avoidance. It is aimed at promoting further mutual investment and strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
The treaty will be signed and enter into force after the necessary domestic procedures are completed in both countries.
