From May 29 to June 1, a delegation from the Republic of Armenia, comprising representatives from the RA Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the RA National Assembly, the office of RA Deputy Prime Minister M. Grigoryan, and the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, visited Stockholm as part of a familiarization working visit within the framework of the "Support to Decentralization and Local Self-Government in Armenia" (DeaLoG) project.
During the official visit, two memorandums of understanding were signed between the RA Ministry of Finance, the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR), and the "SALAR International" company.
The memorandum was signed by Arman Poghosyan, the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia.
"DeaLoG" is a program of the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR) in Sweden, which is implemented by SALAR International and aims to support the Armenian government in implementing decentralization reforms and strengthening local self-government bodies.
