Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan received the newly appointed US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Alison Kvien.

Welcoming the guests, Minister Hovhannisyan congratulated the ambassador on her appointment and wished good luck on a responsible mission.

The minister presented to the ambassador the current economic situation of Armenia.Vahe Hovhannisyan emphasized the importance of the further development of the Armenian-American mutual investment environment and the promotion of trade and economic cooperation.

The Ambassador valued the deepening of Armenian-American cooperation and its continuous expansion.

During the meeting the parties discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
