A total of EUR 3 million grant agreements were signed between the Republic of Armenia and KfW (Credit Institute for Reconstruction): EUR 300.000 - for the implementation of expert services to be provided within the framework of the Project “Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) / Akhuryan River, Phase 1”, and EUR 2.700.000 - for the implementation of measures accompanying the Project “Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) / Akhuryan River, Phase 2”.
Within the framework of the first financing agreement, financial assistance will be provided to finance environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) expert services and, within the framework of the second agreement, to finance expert services related to project measures, as well as to pay foreign exchange costs.
At the end of the signing, the KfW once again underlined the importance of continuing effective cooperation and expressed hope that it will develop in new directions.
