On August 11, the RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received Marian Lemke, the Coordinator of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and European Union (EU) SIGMA Project.
The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Karen Tamazyan also took part in the meeting.
The parties attached importance to the assistance provided to Armenia within the framework of SIGMA Project regarding new procurement law, civil service and drafting of new laws on external audit.
Issues concerning cooperation opportunities in public administration and public finance management were also discussed.
At the end of the meeting, an official invitation was given to the RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan to participate in the Ministerial Conference on "Good Public Management for Citizens and Business", which will be held in Paris on December 13-14, 2017.
