A working meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance with the delegation led by Iva Petrova, head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission Chief for Armenia.
Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan, deputy ministers Avag Avanesyan, Eduard Hakobyan, other representatives of the ministry, as well as permanent representative of the IMF in Armenia Mehdi Raissi and other officials of the IMF were present at the meeting.
Issues related to the implementation of the current reserve program of Armenia with the IMF were discussed during the meeting, in particular, reference was made to the implementation of the structural benchmarks provided by the program. It was highlighted on both sides that there is a mutual understanding between the parties regarding the key aspects of the implementation of the project.
IMF partners noted that the International Monetary Fund values cooperation with the Armenian government and will continue to promote to Armenia's economic development and reforms with its programs.
The interlocutors highlighted the importance of ensuring the continuity of active interaction between the IMF and Armenia.
