The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received the delegation headed by Erich Arispe, the Director of Sovereign Department of the Fitch Ratings Inc.
Erich Arispe informed that the objective of the annual visit of the Agency representatives is to assess the country's rating, the results of which will be published next week.
During the meeting the parties touched upon a number of issues related to the economic stability of the country, debt management, tax reforms, as well as the review of fiscal rules. The course of the initiatives and programs implemented by the Government of Armenia and further steps to be undertaken were discussed as well.
Atom Janjughazyan highly appreciated the cooperation with Fitch Ratings and noted that the Armenian side attaches importance to the work done by the Agency and the rating it grants to Armenia.
