On June 11, the RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received the delegation headed by Werner Liepach, the Director General of the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Werner Liepach congratulated Atom Janjughazyan on his appointment as Finance Minister and underlined the importance of continuous productive cooperation between the Armenian Government and the ADB.
The RA Minister of Finance also highlighted the cooperation with the ADB and noted that it has a considerable involvement in the reform processes carried out in a number of directions in Armenia.
During the meeting, the parties touched upon the opportunities of expanding the programs implemented in the public and private sectors. In particular, the possible financing and investment programs aimed at the spheres of debt management, public finance management, financial sector development, as well as infrastructures and education were discussed, which would contribute to the development of the country and ensure economic return.
