The RA National Assembly approved the annual report of the 2020 RA State Budget at the special sitting held on July 1, 2021.
Presenting last year's financial document to the parliament, Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan reminded that the State Budget was approved in 2020 on the basis of optimistic records of 2019, but the epidemic and the war changed the expectations regarding the economic development.
During 2020, all the countries of the world and Armenia reviewed their fiscal policy, adjusting it to the period of economic downturn. A budget for anti-crisis measures in the amount of about AMD 215 billion has been planned, but not all of it has been used.
"It should be noted that, however, we have not deviated from the logic of sectoral policies stemming from the Government program," Atom Janjughazyan said.
