On August 18, the RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan received H.E. Mr. Fan Yong, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia.
The Ambassador first welcomed the formation of the RA National Assembly and the RA Government, and then congratulated the RA Minister of Finance on his appointment to that position.
The Ambassador strongly believed that the cooperation between the RA Ministry of Finance and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Armenia will be continuous and more effective.
Thanking the Ambassador for congratulation, the RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan informed that these days the RA Government is discussing the five-year action plan, which should be submitted to the RA National Assembly for consideration.
Presenting the key points of the financial and economic part of the government program, Minister Khachatryan stressed that the challenges posed by the spread of the coronavirus have caused new problems in many countries and in Armenia as well.
"In these conditions, the Ministry of Finance considers it important to maintain the macroeconomic environment, which can contribute to the well-being of the people, as well as creating a stable environment for economic growth," said Minister Tigran Khachatryan.
The Minister of Finance highly appreciated the support provided to Armenia by the Government of the People’s Republic of China.
