RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Armenia

On August 19, the RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan received H.E. Mr. Nico Schermers, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia.

Minister Tigran Khachatryan informed the Ambassador that the RA Government has approved the Action Plan for 2021-2026 which outlines the economic and financial policies the RA Government should pursue in the coming years.

In this respect, Tigran Khachatryan emphazised that bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as well as with international organizations, will be very important, given that Armenia is represented in the group led by the Netherlands in the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. Mr. Khachatryan stressed that the Armenian side has always had the permanent support of the Netherlands during the discussions with the mentioned international organizations on the program related to Armenia.

Tigan Khachatryan emphasized the long-term cooperation between the Ministries of Finance of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Armenia, especially the significance of the exchange experience in the field of public finance management.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Armenia Mr. Nico Schermers greeted the RA Minister of Finance in Armenian and congratulated him on his appointment.

Mr. Ambassador highly appreciated the cooperation with the Government of Armenia and expressed readiness to deepen it.
