On August 14, RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan met with the newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia and UN Security Advisor, Françoise Jacob.
Congratulating Françoise Jacob on her appointment, Minister Hovhannisyan commended the current level of cooperation with UN structures and emphasized the importance of her support in the context of institutional reforms.
During the meeting, they discussed programs implemented jointly with the RA government, their main directions, and effectiveness. They also considered the prospects for addressing the needs of displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, funding for climate change and adaptation measures, as well as cooperation in other areas.
Both parties expressed their readiness to strengthen partnership relations and expand the range of joint initiatives.
