Within the framework of the regular, fourth review of the reserve program implemented with the support of the IMF, the concluding meeting between the RA Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan and the representatives of the IMF delegation was held.
During the meeting, Iva Petrova, head of the IMF's mission in Armenia, summarized the discussions that took place during the visit and highlighted the progress made by the Armenian side in the direction of fulfilling the obligations undertaken within the framework of the reserve program.
Minister Hovhannisyan referred to the approaches underlying the preparation of the 2025 state budget, the country's economic development forecasts and the reforms implemented and to be implemented in the field of fiscal policy.
The parties emphasized the importance of the reserve program in the implementation of monetary and structural reforms, valuing the continuity of effective cooperation for the future course of the program, as well as bilateral strategic partnership.
