From June 30 to July 1, 2023, the delegation led by the Minister of Finance of Georgia, Lasha Khutsishvili, is on a working visit to Armenia. The delegation includes deputies of the Minister of Finance of Georgia, the Head of the Revenue Service, the Deputy Chairman National Bank of Georgia and other officials.
During the workshop, representatives from the participating departments of both countries delivered presentations, and discussions were held on various topics, including macroeconomic policy, current regional challenges, tax and customs policy, and administration.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the Memorandum of Understanding "On Technical Cooperation" was signed between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia, and the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. The memorandum aims to activate cooperation and facilitate the exchange of experience in areas such as budgeting, macroeconomic policy, fiscal policy, debt management, tax policies, and other mutually agreed-upon areas.
