With the participation of Deputy Minister of Finance Avag Avanesyan, Head of the Procurement Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance Sergey Shahnazaryan, and Head of the Armenian branch of the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) Luiza Ayvazyan, today's discussions on the technical task of the electronic procurement system were summarized with representatives from the private sector.
The Ministry of Finance representatives highlighted the advantages of the new electronic procurement system, including procedural transparency, reduced risks associated with purchase prices, adherence to price-quality control defined by legislation, and the elimination of various technical problems.
The digitization of procurement procedures, modernization of toolkits, and improvement of the contract management process were emphasized.
Stakeholders expressed their concerns about the project and provided observations and recommendations.
