The loan agreement named by "Green, resilient and inclusive development policy" was signed
The Republic of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development signed The "Green, Resilient and Inclusive Development Policy Loan" budget support loan agreement worth EUR 92,300,000.
The agreement was signed by Vahe Hovhannisyan, the RA Minister of Finance and Carolin Geginat, the Director of the World Bank's Armenian Office.
Budget support funds will be directed to the financing of the deficit defined by the RA Law "On the 2023 State Budget of the Republic of Armenia".
The project plans to implement the following processes:
- Promoting climate change mitigation and adaptation and improving the regulatory framework for environmental management.
- Mitigation of Climate change and promotion of adaptation and improvement of the regulatory framework for environmental management.
- Strengthening reinforcement and promoting human capital development.
- Increasing the effectiveness of the anti-corruption framework and the justice sector.
