On April 23, the RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the annual report on the execution of the 2019 RA state budget at the Armenian unified infocenter. Presenting the main indicators, the Minister informed that according to the data of 2019, 7.6% real growth of the economy was registered. According to the Minister, this is in the conditions when the world economy has grown by 2,9%. According to the presented data, the services sector had a significant impact on the growth of the economy by 5․2% and the industry - by 1․9%. In the reporting year, the average inflation was 1․4%, which was in the manageable range. In 2019, the level of tax revenues had a significant share in revenues - about 94% or AMD 1 trillion 464 billion. In 2019, for the first time, extra-budgetary accounts became part of the state budget; during the reporting year, they ceased to exist.
"In conditions of high economic growth, we have managed to have an adequately responsive fiscal policy. We have created an environment that has allowed us to have a certain fiscal area to attract new debt and counteract the negative expectations that are awaited due to the changed situation", - the Minister emphasized.
