On July 7, the RA Deputy Minister Finance Eduard Hakobyan, received the delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The purpose of the visit was to introduce the newly appointed Regional Director of EBRD Caucasus, Alkis Drakinos.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to Catarina Bjorlin Hansen, the acting regional director of EBRD Caucasus, for effective cooperation with the Armenian side during her tenure.
The Deputy Minister extended his congratulations to Alkis Drakinos on his new position and wished him success in his role, as it will undoubtedly contribute to the deepening and strengthening of the partnership relations between Armenia and EBRD. It is noteworthy that Alkis Drakinos previously served as the first head of the EBRD Yerevan office in 1999-2000.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of current and upcoming projects with the support of the EBRD, as well as the organizational work of the EBRD annual meeting in Yerevan next year.
