On May 22, the RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received Yulia Ustyugova, the Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Armenia.
In the course of the meeting, the parties touched upon a number of programs implemented within the framework of bilateral cooperation, in particular on the assessment of public investment management, tax policy improvement, assessment of fiscal policy through model-based framework development, as well as fiscal transparency assessment.
Atom Janjughazyan assured that the Armenian Government is willing to bring all the joint programs and initiatives to their logical end. The Minister highly appreciated the ongoing cooperation with the International Monetary Fund and attached importance to the opportunities of its expansion and reinforcement.
