The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan Received the EDB Office Director in Armenia

The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received Armen Melkikyan, the Head of Representative Office of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) in Armenia.

The Director of the Eurasian Development Bank Office congratulated Atom Janjughazyan on assuming the post of Minister.

The parties discussed the course of the cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Eurasian Development Bank, as well as the investment projects implemented within the framework of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development. It was also touched upon the directions and perspectives of expanding cooperation in terms of implementation of both private sector and state support projects.

During the meeting, it was highlighted the current effective cooperation within the various initiatives of the Eurasian Development Bank and the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development.

Minister Janjughazyan welcomed the efforts towards the implementation of new investment programs in the private sector.

The Eurasian Development Bank was established in 2006 by the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Republic of Armenia joined the Bank in 2009.

The Eurasian Development Bank is also the fund manager of the Eurasian Fund for Stability and Development.
