The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received the delegation headed by Sylvie Bossoutrot, Country Manager of the World Bank for Armenia. Genevieve Boyreau, Program Leader for the South Caucasus countries, Europe and Central Asia, and Aleksan Hovhannisyan, Senior Operations Officer also took part in the meeting.
During the visit, Sylvie Bossoutrot congratulated the RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan on his appointment. Current programs, perspectives of cooperation between the World Bank and the Republic of Armenia were also discussed. It was also touched upon the strategy documents developed by the World Bank, Systematic Country Diagnostic and Country Partnership Framework, which is in the final stage; as well as the technical assistance provided by the Bank to Armenia within the framework of the Environment Finance Initiative. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to contribute to the development of further effective and continuous cooperation.
