The RA Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan met with Fanny Delpey, director of the South Caucasus Office of the French Development Agency, and Olivier Decottignies, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues related to current cooperation and touched upon the prospects for possible future cooperation, particularly in the fields of reservoir construction, irrigation, water resources and agriculture.
Minister Hovhannisyan attached great importance to the issue of ensuring the further progress of the project aimed at the construction of the Bargushat tunnel, which is part of the Sisian-Kajaran road section. Then, referring to the topic of the policy-based budget support loan agreement for Armenia, the Minister expressed hope that the development of Sub-Project 3 will be successfully completed in the near future, and the funds to be attracted within the framework of the latter will be directed to financing the RA 2025 state budget deficit.
Both sides highly appreciated the current level of partnership relations and expressed their willingness to further strengthen cooperation in the future.
