The RA Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan, met with Yaroslav Mandron, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the investments made by the EDB in Armenia, which amounted to USD 328 million in 2022-2024, and the accumulated investments amounted to USD 488 million. In Armenia, EDB is focused on investments in the real sector and plans to invest about USD 200-250 million in Armenia in 2025-2026.
The Minister thanked Mandron for his response to the emergency situation caused by the heavy rains that fell on May 25-26, 2024.
The Eurasian Development Bank is an international organization that carries out investment activities in the Eurasian region. The authorized capital of the EDB is USD 7 billion. The main share of the EDB portfolio is occupied by projects with an integration effect in the fields of transport infrastructure, digital systems, green energy, agriculture, industry and mechanical engineering.
