The RA Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan, received Jeroen Clicq, the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund.
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the macroeconomic situation of the RA, the implementation of the structural benchmarks established under the reserve program supported by the fund, as well as a number of important issues related to the IMF's draft economic and financial policy memorandum.
Minister Hovhannisyan noted that in the process of developing and implementing policies, the RA Ministry of Finance is guided exclusively by the obligations undertaken within the framework of the IMF program.
The Minister expressed hope that the established close political dialogue with the Fund will continue in the future, and all necessary measures will be taken to achieve the benchmarks set within the framework of the IMF-supported program.
