On May 22, the RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan and ADB director of the Armenian resident mission Don Lambert signed the grant agreement "Climatic Change Adaptable Food Security Enhancement Program". Arman Khojoyan, Deputy Minister of Economy of the RA, was also present at the signing.

A $3 million grant offered by the JFPR will support the Armenian Government to increase the resilience of agricultural livelihoods and improve food security in rural areas that are highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. The Climate Adaptation Food Security Enhancement Program (CAFSEP) will focus on two regions of Armenia: Shirak and Tavush.
