The Ministry of Finance of the RA, with the support of the World Bank, organized an outgoing working meeting titled "The Image of the Ministry's Future" from July 14 to 16 in Tsaghkadzor, with the participation of the Minister, Deputy Ministers, Secretary General and Heads of Departments.
The purpose of the event was to facilitate a participatory discussion on matters of strategic significance for the Ministry. The aim was to formulate clear directions for the next three years and harmonize ideas on several key issues.
After three days of discussions, various topics were covered, presented, and developed.
• Mission, values, and strategic directions
• The impact of organizational culture on the success of strategy implementation
• Competencies as the most important component of the implementation of the strategic plan
In addition, an important discussion was held on the current stage of the GFMIS (Government Financial Management Information System) and the challenges to be done in the future, and effective attempts to organize the development process were presented by Khuram Farooq, Senior Governance Specialist of the World Bank Group.
