On June 13, the RA National Assembly adopted the RA NA Draft Decision on the Annual Report of the State Budget Execution of the Republic of Armenia for 2023 with 67 votes in favour.
In the reporting year, state budget revenues amounted to 2,358,783,606.4 thousand AMD, expenditures - 2,547,649,891.9 thousand AMD, the deficit was 188,866,285.5 thousand AMD.
In 2023, an economic growth of 8.7 percent was recorded, while 7.0 percent was forecasted.
The inflation rate was 2 percent, which was within the scope of the forecasted indicator, the unemployment rate dropped by 0.9 percent, and salaries increased by 14.6 percent.
By the end of the year, the state debt amounted to 11,845.4 million USD, of which external debt was 6501.5 million (54.9% of the total), and the domestic debt was 5343.9 million USD (45.1% of the total).
