Today, a meeting was held between the representatives of the Ministry of Finance and students of YSU's from faculties of mathematics and mechanics, economics and management, according to signed memorandum between the RA Ministry of Finance and YSU.
Karen Sargsyan, Secretary General of the RA Finance Ministry, Tsovinar Barseghyan, Head of the Human Resources Department, Garik Petrosyan, Acting Head of Macroeconomic Policy Department, Arshaluys Harutyunyan, Head of the External Sector Analysis and Forecasting Division and Narek Karapetyan, Chief Specialist of the Fiscal and Monetary Policy Coordination Department, were also present at the meeting.
The goals and main functions of the Ministry in the context of the development and implementation of the macroeconomic policy were presented by the representatives of the Ministry of Finance to the students, in particular, the main directions, the toolkit of macroeconomic analyzes and forecasts, etc.
During the meeting, Karine Nazaryan, the Deputy Director of YSU Career Center, highlighting the organization of such events with the Ministry of Finance, emphasized that cooperation with state departments creates pro-state thinking among students, and breaks the stereotype that departments are closed and stagnant systems.
