On May 25, Armenian Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan participated in the annual general meeting of the Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia, a specialised structure accredited by the RA Ministry of Finance. The minister welcomed the participating auditors, expert accountants, representatives of auditing organizations, stressing the importance of effective implementation of the functions delegated to the chamber by the state.The minister also emphasized that the ideas of the professional community regarding the development of accounting and auditing activities and the policies implemented by the state in these areas, in fact, coincide, which is welcome and indicates effective cooperation between the state and the representatives of the given community.
The president of the chamber, Tatul Movsisyan, presented the report on the results of the chamber's activities in 2023, which was approved by the members of the chamber.
The members of the Public Control Council of Auditors and Expert Accountants attached to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, led by the Chairman of the Council, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Arman Poghosyan, also participated in the annual meeting of the Chamber.
