Vardan Aramyan Left for Washington to Attend the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank

The RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan left for Washington on a three-day visit to attend the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. The agenda of the meetings is full of discussions with high-ranking officials from foreign states and international organizations.

The Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are aimed at discussing issues of global concern, including the world economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development, and aid effectiveness. Within the framework of the latter seminars, regional briefings, press conferences, and many other events focused on the global economy, international development, and the world's financial system are held.
