Today the RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan took part in a working discussion with Norbert Funke, the Director of the Regional Capacity Development Center for the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia (SIKAMTAK) of the IMF.
The Permanent Representative of the International Monetary Fund in Armenia Mehdi Raisi, Deputy Finance Minister Eduard Hakobyan and other representatives of the ministry took part in the discussion.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of mutual interest. In particular, the cooperation with SIKAMTAK was mentioned, which includes the provision of technical assistance to the beneficiary countries, as well as various measures aimed at the exchange of experience.
Minister Hovhannisyan stressed the role of the technical assistance provided by the IMF to Armenia and emphasized that it is of great importance in the process of implementing the reforms being carried out in Armenia.
An agreement was reached between the parties to expand and continue cooperation.
