On June 18, the RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received the delegation led by Olaf Zimelka, Regional Director of the German Development Bank (KfW).
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues on the agenda of the cooperation, as well as prospects for the development of the programs being implemented. Particularly, issues related to the country's creditworthiness and debt management, signing of envisaged grant and policy-based loan agreements and further intergovernmental negotiations were touched upon.
Atom Janjughazyan highly appreciated the cooperation with the Bank and attached importance to the programs implemented in energy, water supply, agriculture, nature protection and other spheres with the support of the latter and ensuring their continuation. In his turn, Olaf Zimelka expressed willingness to activate the existing dialogue and expand cooperation in new directions.
