Today, Vahe Hovhannisyan, the RA Minister of Finance, had a meeting with Japan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Fukushima Masanori.
Minister Hovhanisyan, welcoming the ambassador, noted that Armenia has plans for cooperation with the finance ministries of a number of countries in a bilateral format and emphasized that it would be quite useful to consider the possibility of such cooperation with the Japanese side as well.
Ambassador Fukushima Masanori, expressing gratitude for the reception, congratulated Vahe Hovhannisyan on his position as the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia and extended his best wishes for a productive tenure.
Throughout the meeting, the participants also discussed future directions of cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
